Dr. Sahar Dadvand received her dental agree from the University of Tehran 2004. In Iran, she worked as a general dentist for four years before moving to the United States, where she pursued her career and received her DDS from the University of the Pacific (UOP) Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2010. Upon graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dental Medicine in 2011.
After practicing as a general dentist for two years in the Bay Area, she pursued a postdoctoral residency in Endodontics at the Boston University Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Dadvand has served as a part-time faculty member at the UOP/UCSF School of Dentistry, is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, and is a member of the California Dental Association. She is Diplomet of the American Board of Endodontics.
Having been raised abroad, Dr. Dadvand is fluent in Farsi and enjoys international travel. On weekends, she enjoys exploring the San Francisco Bay Area’s outdoor beauty with her husband. She also enjoys reading, yoga, mountain climbing, playing the piano and the Santoor- a Persian musical instrument, theatre, flamenco dance, tap dance, water skating, and skydiving.
Dr. Dadvand has experience with all aspects of general dentistry and endodontics with advanced knowledge in treating patients with anxiety, complicated medical histories and special needs. Dr. Dadvand has also been trained in providing oral and IV conscious sedation, as well as treatment in an operating room setting.
